Product thinking has been growing as a philosophy to build software products driven by optimizing the value exchange with our customers. Furthermore, the goal is to be able to do this at high velocity (“high-speed + clear direction”). This all sounds nice, however: what does that mean for our technical architecture and organization/teams? In this talk I will focus on Sociotechnical Architecture and how this systems thinking approach enables us to have a more holistic strategy on optimizing this "system of systems". This is key to truly implement product thinking vision: bring the "right things" to customer at high-velocity.

I am a Technical Leader & (Sociotechnical) Software Architect, and ex-{Academic, Startup Founder/CEO/CTO}. I love architecting and engineering software products, but also the teams and systems that surround them. To me this is the key to maximize impact an enable "high-velocity" (= high speed + clear direction).
