What is the role of an architect in a decentralized decision-making model?

The architect's role transitions from being the primary decision-maker to a facilitator and mentor. Their goal is to enable teams to make better decisions by sharing knowledge and context, not to dictate the architecture. This requires unlearning old habits of command.

Examples

An architect's role changes from handing down decisions on a 'stone tablet' to facilitating conversations. They must adjust their muscle memory from broadcasting solutions to engaging in two-way dialogue.
