DDD & Domain Modeling: Using AI to Accelerate Design – with Staffan Palopää

April 2, 2024 5:00 pm (UTC)

DDD & Domain Modeling can take a long time to learn and understand. This could be one of the biggest impediments for increased adoption of DDD. With the help of AI, we can speed up the learning process dramatically. We can create domain models (from prompts) in minutes rather than days or weeks. This helps visualise the benefits of DDD for stakeholders.

In this session, we'll use AI to place domain events on a timeline (EventStorming) and then continue with read & write models, systems, aggregates and bounded contexts. We'll even demonstrate an example of how you can turn a domain model straight into a business application. This saves time and allows people to focus on what truly matters – business strategy, tactics, and innovation.
