The market for in person / presence training is pretty much gone right now due to the current situation. However each crisis brings up new opportunities. Some folks in the Domain-driven Design community have already gathered experiences in conduction and attending remote trainings about our favorite topic. This panel aims at sharing experiences among traininers and attendees as well. The questions we will discuss will include:

Michael Plöd
I am helping organizations to transform their IT delivery organisation towards more autonomy, agility and collaboration by algining their teams, domains and software (architecture). In this area I work heavily with ideas from Domain Driven Design, Team Topologies, visual collaboration (e.g. EventStorming) and various methods from the software architecture area. I have over 15 years of experience in this area of work and I strive for delivering value for my customers.
In addition to that I am a regular speaker at national and international conferences with 200+ talks delivered. I won various awards for top presentations at conferences. I am also a trainer for Software Architecture and Domain Driven Design courses with 50+ trainings delivered. This activity helps me in improving my communication and presentation skills which I consider to be essential for my job. I prefer to deliver presentations but I am also an author of many articles and some books.
I consider myself to be a curious life-long learner and invest continuously in improving my knowledge and skills.
Gien Verschatse
Gien Verschatse is an experienced consultant and software engineer that specializes in domain modelling and software architecture. She's fluent in both object-oriented and functional programming, mostly in .NET. As a Domain-Driven Design practitioner, she always looks to bridge the gaps between experts, users, and engineers. As a side interest, she's researching the science of decision-making strategies, to help teams improve how they make technical and organizational decisions. She shares her knowledge by speaking and teaching at international conferences.
And when she is not doing all that, you'll find her on the sofa, reading a book and sipping coffee.
